Day 1AKWAABA (WELCOME) - ARRIVAL

Arrive in Ghana. Meet and assist. Transfer to hotel. Welcome dinner and orientation by DA Chariot staff.

Day 2ACCRA CITY TOUR

Accra City Tour. After breakfast, drive through the administrative or political route in Accra City, the Independence Square and Black Star square, a typical Ghanaian market (Makola Market), Ohene Djan Sports Stadium, Parliament or State House, National Theatre, Accra International Conference Centre. Continue to Jamestown (lighthouse) and drive through typical Ga community (indigents of Accra) a fishing community. Visit the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and continue to the Centre for National Culture.

Day 3GHANAIAN LIFE HOME EXPERIENCE

Live a typical day home experience in the life of a Ghanaian. This experience will include interactions with both parents and children as you will be involved in a typical Ghanaian home setting with regards to dialect, food and culture as a whole in Accra, Greater Accra Region.

Day 4GHANAIAN NAMING CEREMONY – MANHYIA PALACE MUSEUM

Experience a special indigenous Ghanaian naming ceremony at the Center for National Culture, Kumasi. Each person in the group will be a name unique to his/her day of birth. The Cultural Center also has many workshops where craftsmen create many artworks in wood, ceramics and other materials, including the shop of a master drum maker.

Continue to the Manhyia Palace Museum which was created within the old residence of Otumfuo Agyeman Prempeh I and Otumfuo Sir Osei Agyeman Prempeh II.

Day 5GHANAIAN LIFE HOME EXPERIENCE
